Step one: Learn how to play guitar: Justin Guitar is a fine and free place to start learning chords and the basic skills you’ll need to be able to play guitar — from there, it’s up to you, but once you know the basics, just looking up tabs for your favorite songs and learning them on your own is how many young guitar players get their start (plus it’s an excellent party trick).
Step two: A delightful free voice lesson from Berklee College Of Music.
Step three: Have you always thought you had an inner TSwift? Berklee College of Music offers an Introduction to Songwriting course completely for free online. The course is six weeks long, and by the end of the lesson you’ll have at least one completed song.

All kids draw — so why do we become so afraid of it as adults? Everyone should feel comfortable with a sketchbook and pencil, and sketching is a wonderful way to express your creativity. DrawSpace is a great place to start. (I also highly recommend the book Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain if you can drop a few dollars for a used copy.)
BuzzFeed’s own Katie Notopoulos has a great, simple guide to making an animated GIF without Photoshop. This is all you need to be the king or queen of Tumblr or your favorite email chains.

Most cities have free community classes (try just searching Google or inquiring at your local yoga studio), or if you’re more comfortable trying yoga at home, YogaGlohas a great 15-day trial and Yome is a compendium of 100% free yoga videos. It’s simple and just imagine the minutes of your life you’ll save!
i’m having some fuckin Thoughts so let’s have some actual sex worker aus:
There is a difference between “I don’t feel like doing this thing, but for various reasons, I’ve decided that the benefits of doing it outweigh the drawbacks” and “I don’t feel like doing this thing, and I’ve therefore chosen not to do it.” This is surely none too complex a concept.
I keep seeing radfems attacking the notion that sex work is work by saying that, if you don’t feel like doing your job as a barista, the worst you have to face is making coffee when you don’t want to, and that for sex workers, it’s rape.
Now, leaving aside the fact that rape is a very real risk in basically every not-solo job environment, your comparison is still full of shit. Rape is not the same as doing something I don’t feel like doing (kind of inherent in the definition there). Nobody comes in and physically drags a hooky-playing barista into work, and nobody forces me to do sex acts that I don’t choose to do, for whatever reasons I deem are acceptable. And if they do, that’s the equivalent of a customer at a coffee house raping me, not me making them a coffee when I’d rather be home playing with my cat.
Although, now that you mention it, if I choose not to go to work on a particular day (or if I can’t because of say, a chronic illness flare up or he need to take care of a kid), the absolute worst thing that happens is that I lose that particular client, that particular opportunity to make money. I don’t risk losing my profession altogether, I don’t risk having bad references and having trouble getting my next client. All of which is true for baristas who have the temerity to want to control the time and manner of their labor as much as a sex worker can. So maybe you’re right that sex workers and baristas don’t face the same amount of coercion – it’s entirely possible that sex workers have it better, by and large.
Oh so very sincerely,

A friendly fox in Pripyat, Chernobyl exclusion zone
*happy cheerful music as fox plays in deserted nuclear radiation land*
This is the aesthetic
Fun facts about the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone:
1) Most of it is pretty safe, even for long periods of time. In fact about 200 native people still live there, but no new settlement is allowed, so that number has declined from about 1200 after the zone was created in 1986.
2)The zone has become an unintentional animal reserve. Its ~1000 square miles of uninhabited forest. Poaching happens, but not to the degree one might expect due to the fear of radiation. Also as a consequence there are lots of human friendly animals like this fox. Most of the humans they do see are tourists that regularly feed them.
3) Its one big science experiment on post human occupation, environmental contamination, and radioactive degradation. Weve actually learned a hell of a lot about what would happen to a city after everyone leaves and how nature takes back over thanks to the city of Pripyat. And how the environment adapts to sudden changes and evolves. A fungus was desvovered in and around the Chernobyl Disaster Site that creates chemical energy out gamma radiation emitted from the melted down core. Something biologists had only theorized as even possible a few years ago, and heres this fungus feeding on it. Its crazy man!
^^ i was literally thinking about if nature and wild life had taken back over the area
Adorable fox + interesting science, 10/10
i almost forgot this blessed video exists
Wait there’s another one of these
If memory serves, what happened was that someone took a video of a Ukrainian military band playing some other song and dubbed a realistic-sounding version of A Cruel Angel’s Thesis over it. This proceeded to be everywhere on the internet, enough so that the band that put on the original performance caught wind of it, and decided to capitalize on its popularity by actually performing the song. This video is the latter version.

As usual Jared brought his natural interview charisma for the audience, not just for Kelly or Ryan. He’s good at telling stories, he can tell the same story over and over again and still make it sound fresh and interesting. I appreciate that Jared looked at the audience and not just at Kelly or Ryan, it’s a huge pet peeve of mine whenever newbies or dgaf celebrities only look at the host, like dude I know it’s awkward as duck to not look at the host while answering his question but you’re not in his living room so look at the damn audience! Shoot me but Ryan was actually funny and didn’t hijack to make it about himself. Bonus they covered quite a bit of ground: the beanie’s back story, SPN day, Jared getting the mayor on the phone like Batman, the show’s longevity, and the non-negociable kid. Jared’s segment was longer than the usual five minutes, I think it was 8 minutes long, not counting the scene clip from Mint Condition.
OK GUYS LISTEN UP

Rose body scrub
I would reccomend this if you enjoy the smell of roses. The scrub not only smells great but it’s super cute. I love using this scrub before a day out in the sun or even a night out. The baby oil makes your skin so soft and there is a light fragrance of roses. I prefer using brown sugar instead of white simply because the brown sugar serves as a better scrubbing agent. White will do just fine, it will simply be less coarse against the skin. Dig en and enjoy!
• Rose petals from 2-3 roses
• 1 cup of sugar (Brown or White)
• 15ml baby oil or coconut oil
• A blender or food processor
•A jar to place the scrub in
Pour all the ingredients into the food processor and blend. Continue doing so until the ingredients are mixed well. Spoon the scrub into a jar and enjoy a rosy heaven.
**A little edit to this. These roses came from my garden not a florist so they weren’t sprayed with any pesticides or treated with anything that could be harmful to my skin ❤🌸I saw a dress like this on a 90′s inspo insta page and then thought that the Get Famous mesh would be perfect for a skirt version. Ugh its so cute and makes you feel a certain way when paired with some choice platforms! 💜 I hope you guys like it 💜
